Keep music joyful, focused, and connected—even when your routine shifts
What helps children stay motivated and connected to music during the holidays?
Summer routines change, and so does practice. The question is how can we do it so we all benefit from it? Imagine learning, in a more relaxed environment and with a smile...
Join Guillem Calvo (violin) and guest Suzuki teacher trainers Daniel Fajardo (piano) and Carey Beth Hockett (cello) for an inspiring conversation on how to nurture a healthy musical environment over the summer break. Whether you’re navigating holiday travel, changing routines, or simply trying to keep things going, this session will offer fresh ideas and grounded support.
We’ll explore how to:
🎵 Encourage practice without pressure
🌱 Support emotional well-being and musical growth
🏡 Create rhythms and rituals that feel good for your family
🤝 Stay connected to your child—even when practice looks different
